Eco Parks > Quintana Roo
Located about 10 kilometers from the head of the island, in San Miguel de Cozumel. This place is perfect for snorkeling, and enjoying the vegetation and Prehispanic culture. It was declared a National Park in 1980 and has since been considered a special refuge for fauna and flora of the region.
It offers large palapa huts, lagoons, gardens and monuments. There are areas for swimming and snorkeling where you can admire the sculptures of Christ and the Virgin. There is also a good variety of restaurants that serve dishes from the region.
There is a museum dedicated to spelunking (cave diving), with internal lagoons where you can spot manatees and dolphins, as well as an area that combines a botanical garden with a collection of replica archaeological pieces from various Mexican cultures.
